The Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok aims to produce thinkers and creative inventors who will be a major force in turning scientific knowledge into an applied science that can lead to innovations that conform to the principles of sufficiency and sustainability. The sufficiency principle uses moderate practice as the main idea of living. However, it still aims to keep up with global changes according to the philosophy of the faculty that in order to respond to national and international development it is necessary to develop dedicated people with scientific and technological knowledge

The Faculty of Applied Science was established on May 14th, 1988. Since then it has been a persistent commitment of the faculty to develop human resources in accordance with academic, scientific, and technology excellence. This has been done along with the aim to cultivate morality in the graduates so that they will contribute the knowledge they have gained appropriately.
