Department of Design Management and Business Development
The Department of Design Management and Business Development offers the Interior Design Management and Business Development (IDM.B) program for undergraduate students. This program aims to produce knowledgeable graduates that can integrate academic knowledge to manage various design projects, carry out interior space design management, and organize fair and exhibition projects effectively within time and budget constraints according to the needs of customers. The core content of this program is composed of 3 main elements:
  1. Design: students will learn basic knowledge and concepts about creative design that takes account of aesthetic qualities, practical utility, customer needs, and other necessary systems such as electrical system, lighting system, computer networks, and energy saving system.
  2. Technology: students will learn to use and integrate modern technologies and software into designing, sketching, team working, and project management, including media development useful for project presentation.
  3. Management: students will learn about basic principles of management essential for working in an organization such as effective communication, professional presentation, report writing, marketing, finance, and project management. This management knowledge is important for developing students’ professional abilities before entering the world of work, regardless of what field they are in.
