The Department of Computer Education was established in 1991. It is the first department to initiate the name “Computer Education” in Thailand. The department is under the administration of the Faculty of Technical Education, offering degrees of B.S. Tech.Ed. in Computer Technology , M.S.Tech.Ed. in Computer Education, and Ph.D. in Computer Education. The department emphasizes on learning management to produce scholars who are able to teach, conduct research, and create innovation in Computer Technology including Software Development, Information System Development, Hardware-Software Interface and Control, Instruction Media and Teaching Method Development, Teaching Model Based on Computer System, etc. Our students have won multiple National Teaching Awards, Software Development Awards, Instruction Media Awards, as well as International Invention and Innovation Awards. In addition, our students have constantly produced numerous research publications. The department is ready in all facets of teaching management including qualified faculty members, computer laboratories, and modern supporting equipments such as 3D Virtual Reality development tools, Brain-Sensing equipments, visual media production tools ,etc. Our goal in accordance with the Faculty and Department’s Identity is to produce the graduates who are able to “create and transfer”.
