Information The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS)
The start of the academic cooperation between Germany and KMUTNB began in 1959 where it was started as a Thai-German Technical School. For more than 50 years this cooperation has continued and led to the establishment of TGGS – an institute that adapts the German engineering educational methodology and standards based on the RWTH Aachen University model of graduate level engineering education.
Industry Oriented Research and Education
At TGGS, the latest research problems from the industry meet with academic experts. A Multidisciplinary group of lecturers and researchers is working closely with the industry to solve its latest R&D issues. Students are seamlessly integrated into research projects under the guidance of their lecturers and experts from industry from which they acquire technical knowledge and teamwork skills.
Through this scheme, companies and students can get to know each other’s potential which may result in career opportunities. Students who enjoy the academic environment at the university may also continue their career at TGGS as doctorates afterwards.
